Excursion

Within the topics of group C, students of both bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at the Department of History of the Professors of Arts of the College of Prague can choose a specialist historical adventure (KHI/XE). Preliminary program (partial changes to the program reserved):

  1. Day (Saturday): morning departure from Olomouc, stop en route in the town of Kumrovec (Tito’s native town, outdoor gallery, Tito’s vacation home ), early evening arrival on the island of Krk, overnight stay in Njivice with breakfast near the sea (Aminess Gaia Eco-friendly Villas )
  2. Day 1 (Sunday): full-day trip to Pula (Roman amphitheater) + boat trip to the island of Veliki Brijun (Tito’s residence), depending on time schedule, additionally a stop in Rijeka (Tito’s luxury yacht – Galeb ), evening return to the island of Krk, overnight remain with morning meal

  6. Day 1 (Thursday): trip to Sutjeska National forest (memorial of the Fight of Sutjeska -1943 and Spomen-Dom Sutjeska ), town of Goražde (‚secure’ UN zone from 1992-1995, siege gallery ), overnight remain in Trebinje
  7. Day 1 (Friday): full-day journey to Montenegro (Kotor), over night remain in Trebinje
  8. Day (Saturday): private cost-free program in Trebinje and its environments – rest, return at night (overnight stay on the bus)
  9. Day (Sunday): arrival in Olomouc in the morning

History Pupils Guild

The association of volunteers from among pupils and graduates of the Department of Background in Olomouc was founded in 2007. Its main objective is to organize cultural, professional and gatherings for students of the Department of Background, along with various other interested parties. We arrange the adhering to events: first-year college graduation, expert tests (Ancient, Biblical), pupil conferences, parlor game nights, yard events (end of the summer season term)… All this aids to develop friendly relationships not only between pupils of various years, yet also in between trainees, teachers and the monitoring of the department.
